Berkeley Marina Fishing Party Boats have had some excellent Rock Cod / Ling Cod Fishing the past couple of weeks. Boats have been fishing along the Marin Coast and the Farallon Islands with weather permitting. Coming home with everyone getting limits of Fish! We will begin our New Season with Potluck Fishing.
Which consist of Halibut, Stripped Bass inside the San Francisco Bay or along the Coastal area just outside the Golden Gate.

Albacore Report:
Last Saturday, the skipper of the EL DORADO, Capt. Robert Gallia ventured out to the TUNA GROUNDS with a light load and questionable weather forecast.
There destinationl; 65 miles West of the Golden Gate Bridge.
Traveling 2 hours in the early morning just outside the Farallones Islands, the Winds calmed and the seas settled down with a high layer of overcast blanketing the morning sky. It was the perfect condition for what was to be a memorable trip. After 65 miles of water, West of the Golden Gate Bridge to an area better known as the Gum-Drop. The Gear Splashed into the 60.5 degree Water. In short order, the customers and crew were dancing all over the Deck with their Rods bent over. After many dances around the rail, the crew was ready for a rest. Each stop produced doubles , triples and even quadruples during the first half of the trip. The pace continued throughout the day as each stop produced Albacore of mixed grade, up to (25lbs.)....in total the 5 Anglers onboard scored (20 Albacore). It was a "Good Day of Fishing"!!

Saturday, Aug. 22nd the Butchie-b with Capt. Phil departing from San Francisco's Fisherman's Wharf pier 47 carried a Private Party Fishing Charter.
The group fished a full day along the Marin Coast catching (10) Halibut, (5)rock Cod (1)Ling Cod and (1)Large Flounder. Everyone had a "Great Time" returning to (the City) San Francisco only to Party into the Night!!!

Last Friday, July 31st departing from the Berkeley Marina, the "EL DORADO" with Capt. Robert Gallia Fished Angel Island all Day.
20 Anglers hooked up 17 Halibut up to 20lbs.
Saturday fishing the Seals Rocks area just outside the Golden Gate.... again the "El Dorado" and the 26 Anglers aboard reeled in 18 Halibut up to 25lbs.
Today, fishing right outside the Gate, Seal Rock and the South Bar....13 Anglers caught 17 Halibut up to 21lbs.
The Halibut continues to be the "HOT BITE"!
